The new Campus Conference and Exhibition Center at NASA IESB, a 2 story 135,000 sq. ft. LEED Gold certified building, houses dining, conferencing, and assembly spaces, in addition to media and interactive research office programs. The new building balances references to both the extraordinary research artifacts at Langley, as exemplified in the wind tunnel structures, and the administrative buildings that have defined the core of the Langley campus for over 60 years.
At the heart of the historic NASA Langley Campus, the NASA IESB Campus Conference and Exhibition Center is the second building to be realized under James Tilghman’s design leadership as the Design Excellence Lead Designer. The building was recognized with a 2015 AIA Northern Virginia Design Award.
